do you think ballroom dancing is just for the middle aged only?

i have an aunt who goes ballroom dancing every day. she's in her late forties and she's been at it for the past 5 or 6 years. she's been inviting me to come with her but i refused because, i figured, i'd feel out of place. am i wrong or what?

Dancing of any kind is not strictly for any age group.Ballroom dancing can actually be fun and exciting. Tjere are actually competitons for ballroom dancing with children as young as like 10 in them. why not give it a try...at least once? what could it hurt?

from where i am, it's mostly middle-aged to old matrons who are into this sport that's why it's kind of awkward if you're the only younger thing there. but i might give it another try one of these days. i love dancing, after all! thanks for your input!
