Need a loud & tough cell phone

I'm looking to upgrade to a better cell phone. I am looking for the following qualities in this order: Volume of ear speaker (and/or ring), and durability overall (any edge on water resistance is a plus too), I don't care about much else. I have a basic little LG that came free with my Cingular service and it goes out even if it gets humid, is hard to hear, but is fine with durability otherwise so far.
