Have We Forgot Founders?

We have already passed about six years in a new millenium. If we take a flash-back on the last millenium, we can well know that the contribution of the last millenium in every field of our civilization is large. But how far we are regarding the founders of new achievements in the last millenium? Are they and their works are only the chapters of lessons in our Schools / Universities? Are we able to study follow and utilize them in everyday life? In my opinion the works and thoughts of founders must be well dispersed in our society in all levels for a better new millenium! Are you in same opinion?
