this is one great book.quite down to earth here and there but at the same time a very racy novel.sidney sheldon did write a very great book and all that.this is one cannot put down book.if you had not read it until now please do so.the story itself is set in the 1950's and it is not a thriller book or anything like that.but it is all about how fragile as humans we really are!
try it you will not be disapointed!

yea man its quite a good book...good portrayal of human evil....shocking at the end...one of sidneys best.

that is so right.it is in all of us.but to be fair i think that noelle was not evil,it is just that she had such a life that morals mattered little to her.anyway it is one hell of a book!must read to those who have not read it.thanks for your great comments!

o my God its fabulous i just love it..have u read "the memories of midnight" ?? all sheldon books are awesom...my fav author..jus seeps u in the stream of the story

I love that book! I read it many years ago and it started a long love affair with Sidney Sheldon books. I also loved Rage of Angels, but The Other Side of Midnight is the first one I read of his. I can't remember which was which, but I remember the the book made prominent mention of the hair colors of the two main characters, and then when a movie was made, the blonde from the book was brunette and vice versa.
