Cough

I've been having a bad cough since late October and it doesn't seem to go away. Anyone who has a good remedy? I've seen several doctors but each time, the cough seem to subside, I wake up having phlegm etc. It's so terrible. I was told not to eat chicken as it aggravates the phlegm condition. I guess I did take some but didn't know that it would have been such a bad impact! Please help me! I'm coughing my lungs out already!

do you always have cough? it's terrible! I'm worried because I went for a seminar about cancer and this doctor said that if there is persistent cough, it is one of the symptom of throat cancer. I went to see a doctor and seems like it's just normal cough but it never goes away!
