Hong Kong Disneyland

Anyone been to the Hong Kong Disneyland yet? I am thinking of going but not sure whether it's worth the while. It was so crowded years ago when it opened and it was a chaotic situation. Anyone has any idea how are things now?

Hi there, i find Hongkong Disneyland as an average, i've been to Disneyworld in Florida and Disney in LA and i tell you HK Disneyland is not as good as those 2 in terms of place and area, you can finish the whole HK Disneyland tour in half day. But still it's worth experience since it's a different disney located in Asia. And only in HK Disney you can find a chinese speaking Mickey Mouse :) but anyway this is just my opinion. I suggest you experienced it yourself.

I completely understand what you are saying, that's why I've been hesitating too. I've been to the one at California and still finding a chance to get myself to Florida as Disney World is much bigger. But then, I've been delaying and I think by then...I'd be too old for all those rides! haha.

I never knew that there was a DisneyLand in Hong Kong. What an experience that must be, but a trip like that would cost a fortune from the U.S. A Chinese-speaking Mickey Mouse, now that's something to see! I wonder if the Disneyland in Hong Kong will gradually build up as more people become interested in going?

thanks for your response! oh yes, I've been to the one in California in 1990!!! That's a long time ago. Trying to re-live my childhood again, I suppose, but it just takes too much to travel from Singapore to Cali! :) I have been wanting to visit Disneyworld! It's many times bigger than the one in California, right?

Great....I think it's great to have disney all around but maybe it loses it's "identity"? Don't you think?
