In my country (Indonesia), with the population nearly 300 million, 90% do not understand at all about internet. Whenever we (as educated meets other educated) talk or discuss in public about internet, the villagers or in the city which mostly not finish primary school, for example we ask "What do you know about internet? or are you interested in internet?" People who accidenteally heard about it would think that internet is a kind of expensive food or something like that. That's why it's hard to find places to connect with internet line. Most who have telephone lines do not have computers at home, or if they have computers they rarely think of installing modem inside.
