Do you think the economy is taking a turn for the worst?

I recently have noticed more and more people struggeling to make it. Many of my family member, friends, and inlaws are so bad off. It seems like the harder you work the more you fall behind. I am in foreclosure with a home can barely keep the electric on and hide my car so it dosnt get taken in the night by the repo man! Just wondering if it is me or others having just as hard of a time as us?
