Is Bluetooth and efficient media to tranfer data..for what apps. its can be used

Bluetooth is a data transfer technique through which we can send/receive data via the air. But its limited range is the only one problem that i face now..
The Range is upto :10meters
I'm using bluetooth for sharing file with other mobile users.
Which are the phones which support bluetooth and what are its applications..

Bluetooth can be used to transfer any type of data if u want to use it efficiently for a specified mobile i would prefer using pc suit of that specified company whose mobile you want to use then the connect the bluetooth to the mobile by selecting the connection type to bluetooth this would help you to browse the mobile (phone and card memory) and install applications and you can also use the suits to connect your mobile to the internet if your mobile is GPRS enabled (6681 will work fine it think you have it). You get new bluetooth devices of Billiontoon which has a range of abt 100mts(max). that would solve your problem. bye
