Philippines animation industry almost export all of its output to large international studios. Labour cost are cheaper compare to the US: 2D animation: 15-20% 3D animation: 20-30% There are more than 30 studios in the country with the cost of production falls in the range of $50 - $100k per eps. The Phillipines animation industry is able to produce more than 7000 minutes of content annually. The animation industry in the Philippines has received supports from the goverment, as animation is seen as one ofthe main drivers of the technology services industry in the country. However labour cost are now rising, making the country increasingly vulnerable to competition from low-cost studios in territories such as China and India. source: 3D world 0706
