Photoshop Slices / myLot

hi any techies... i was told that the 'slices' tool in photosho could be used to designate areas on an image to click on for web links usage, like an image map. i have tried and tried, but i cannot see how these links 'activate'. i can insert the URL to each slice and everything, but if i save as a jpg, does the file lose that slice info? or must i do something else in order to make the image map function online?

Hi shmeedia I saw a link a long time ago that leads to a "Photoshop" Tutorial I will see if I can find it again for you My wife is pretty good with Photoshop and she knows nothing about it!

thanks forfein! interesting site, though i have a slow dialup connection so watching the flash tutorials are a bit slow lol i'm looking through the site as i type this and hoping i'll find something about the slices :) thanx again!
