Won a British international Lottery

Hi, Few days back i got a mail that i won a British international lottery with the following information. Ref: BTL/491OXI/04 Batch: 12/25/0304 serial number 5388/02 drew the lucky numbers: 31-6-26-13-35-7, file RPC/9080118308/04 Draw date:Aug 1st 2006 in London after that they asked me to contact their payment centre which is M&T Banl plc. I contacted them,and they told that i have to open an account in their bank to transfer my money to me.So, i need to send some money to them.Is it the right process?or is there any other way to get my winning money?

obviously its a scam, dont fall on it. they will only get ur money after that u wont get any response from them.

if indeed this is true, I would suggest getting in contact with the company who informed you of the win, then speak to them about sending a cheque or paying it into your account.

Scam. Never fall for any of these lottery emails no matter where they say they are from. Some of them may look convincing but they are all crooks.

There is no British international Lottery. If you didn't enter the lottery how could you win in the first place? Please, use common sense.
