Do you believe Christ is God? Or he is son of God? or both? Can you explain whatever option you take? It will be interesting to see what he said himself. Disclaimer: This thread is not meant for abusing anyone of any religion. It is simply a question that came to my mind becuase of 'seemingly' contradictory things I have heard. I will appreciate if those who respond, do so with this message in mind. Thanks

Jesus claimed God the Father for us all and his Father so I believe in the Trinity and its three is one concept. I think often we conflict with the old testament when we go back and forth so much

I cannot understand how this is possible. Jesus said father and he is same. But same also means in the image. He never equaivocally say, as far as I know that he is himself God. Why he did not do it? As far as I know in christian literate 'Jesus is God' was put by Paul around 4th century. I have great respect for lord jesus christ, but if I cannot find hiw own words testifying that I cannot accept it becuase followers are always sentimental so followers can make anyone God. Hope my point is clarified now.

You did not explain your comment. My question was if you say he is God then can you qualify it by stating what he himslef said about it. Becuase many people say he only said he is son of God. Thanks for your reply anyways.

YES, Christ is God BUT when He was sent into this world, He was man (anthropos and aner) like us, human beings; otherwise, He could not have been killed and save us. Through His blood, those who obey Him are saved. God is Spirit and has no blood. YES, He is the only-begotten Son of God. There are many verses in the Holy Bible which support this. May God bless you. SEN

My additional answer to poitn 6 and 7 is that God can empower anyone to take away sins of others. Do you mean that God has to do it directing himslef. Why cant he send someone else, give him the power to do what he willed? By saying that anyone else could not do it you are limiting the powers of God.
