Are your raising your children to be bilingual?

I am. I speak Spanish fluently since I was brought up in a bilingual home & my husband speaks to our son in English. So far he understands both languages perfectly (he is almost 2 1/2) although I have noticed that it is taking him longer to speak in full sentences than his monolingual friends. But I am fine with this since the benefits of speaking multiple languages far outweighs the fact that he is taking his time speaking now.

that's great that you're raising him to be bilingual. i dont have any kids yet, but when i do have them they will definitely learn multiple languages. i want them to at least learn english, dari, and pashto. i guess they'll also have to learn whatever my husband speaks and the language of the country we're living in. i know its going to be really difficult with all those languages in the house, but i think it's possible.

I think it is absolutely possible! :-) And although it may be hard in the beginning, your future children will gain so much from it!
