First Love

I was 15 weeks off my wedding when I looked at him and thought - rest of eternity? Ten minutes later I was on my way back home to my parents house. We'd been together from being 13, on and off, and we would have been married just before my 22nd birthday. I just suddenly knew he was not what I wanted, no-one was pleased as I'd paid for nearly everything for the wedding and honeymoon by then - oooops better late than never. Still not married - been with Shrek over 7 years but although we're really good together and have our boys I just don't feel the need to get married. It's like I'd loose my freedom somehow and although I choose to be with him if that choicewas gone I don't know how I'd feel.

I sure did! I thought that I was in love with a guy before I met my hubby but once we got together I realized it was only 'puppy love' that I felt for that boy... it was more like a crush. I've been with my husband since High School (1989). I knew from the moment we met that he was the one for me. We were friends, then lovers and now marriage partners, parents of two children and we're still best of friends. I feel blessed ; )

No, praise the Lord, I did not. At the time I was totally enamored, but later on I discovered what a total jerk he was and broke up with him. Later I introduced him to a college friend. She tried to break it off after awhile, too, but he stalked her everywhere until she'd take him back again. She finally ended up married to him, poor girl. He had mental problems, for sure.

no i didnt marry my first love for many reasons. mostly that we were so young and i didnt want to be totally commited so young. and because he did everthing his mother said and wore what she wanted and i couldnt handle it. i did marry my second love though. Tanika.

no i didn't married my first love because we broke up he found someone (only a weeks after we broke up. Silly that man)heheheheh...but luckily i have a right man now and im happy with him

Well, there's not very much to discuss. My first love was when I was ten. He wasn't really my first love, it was more of a 'crush'. I was ten and he was eleven, and at night in the summer all the kids on our block would play 'cowboys and indians' and 'British bulldog' in the street 'til dark. There must have been about twelve or so of us. I don't know what it was about him, but I would get a sicky feeling when he was around. I didn't understand what it was back then. I understood later when I met another boy, a minister's son, when I was fourteen, I would get that same feeling when he was around me too. I have no idea where either one of these people are today.

I did not but I was heartbroken when she started seeing guys other than me. She made me angry and sad. But I moved on to find another.

After marriage only i started loving my lifepartner. Really that is my first love. And I had a great time with her.

Nope, I didn't marry my first love. At the time I wanted to but I guess lucky for me it didn't happen. I met my husband 2 years after me and my first love broke up. The love I have for him is stronger than I ever felt with my first love.

well, i ended up with my first love now. after all these years. he is my high school sweethearts and after having 3 boyfriends, we now ended up as lovers. our story is really somewhat nice to hear but i lost track of the events. its all in my head. lol! what i am proud now is that we love each other. thanks my friend. .. jhelai
