Kidney Cancer

The doctors have found tumors on my right kidney and left adrenal gland, at first they told me there was nothing to worry about because they were positive it wasnt cancer, now they have changed their minds, suddenly they arent sure so I have to go to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem N.C. to see a couple of doctors.I wonder what percentage of kidney and adrenal tumors turn out to be cancer ?

My dad went through a similar experience a few years ago. The doctors were sure it was cancer but it turned out it wasn't.

my mom is currently going through testing. they thought it was a kidney stone but there are specs on the xray around the outside of her kidney. best of luck to you and i hope you are okay.

I just recently had an open partial nephrectomy on my left kidney. i had a grape sized tumor that was found by accident. I was only stage 1 and have been cancer free for 5 months now. They took about 1/32nd of my kidney and haven't had any complications. The worst part is being so sore. i have a 6 inch scar on my side & my muscles ache every night. But i am mending slowing. Hope all went well with you & your surgery.
