I have a few hand knitted sweaters that I wear in the colder months. My dear Aunt made them for me a while back, and I treasure them for their warmth, and just for the fact that she so lovingly made them just for me. That's nice your Mom makes sweaters for your husband, and that he appreciates wearing them.

My mom has made me a few also. I really like them. They are so warm to wear!
