Flying rules in recent day

Just while I was leaving London to India, I had to check in 4 hours earlier and get bored.But I do believe that this rules strict are necessary would you tell me what are your views on latest food drink prohibitions and all regulations on long distance flights

Unfortunately in this day and age, things have come to this as far as flying is concerned. However its better to be safe than sorry eh? so while all the queuing and restrictions seem irritating, I suppose one can only go along with it because its for the passengers' benefit

We just flew to Mexico last week. We only had to check in an hour before. Wow 4 hours is crazy! I agree with the restrictions. The only thing that changed for us was we had to purchase the water in the airport and lotions toothpaste etc... in your check bag had to fit in a small plastic bag otherwise they took it
