First of all Wishing you a happy married life with your hubby, yes i agree these days meeting people online is becoming very very popular, but I am still sceptical about this concept, I find it hard to trust people on the net but at the same time when i see the number of dating and matrimonial sites growing and also meet people who have actually met their partners there I feel they can be trusted.

Why you ahev to be negative about it? You dont have to marry someone the day you meet online. Treat internet as a medium. DOnt fall in love on the net. But utilize the net to bring you in touch with someone special. Then after some interactions you try to meet in person. Dont be on the net communication for too long. That is because some people are actually out there on the ent for fun and you amy be getting serious. So to avaoid any heartbreak be prompt. if you feel one person you met may be the one for you, try to meet him or her in the next week or so. If you follow these rules, then u can make the internet to work for you as the faithful matchmaker :)

Hi achyuta .. I too met my hubby on net.. we were net friends and we use to caht on yahoo.. and while chatting we became gud frinds and got married :) for 1yr and 11months now.. our anniversary is on 15 jan...

I met my last husband online, the marriage only last a year but it was a great relationship. I also met my current b/f online and we have a wonderful relationship

Wow lucky you!! I have met a few people online that were PSYCHO!!!!! Seriously the ones who once you meet become stalkers and such. SCARY!!! And then I had met a few good people too, a fun date, but that was it. I gave up along time ago on online dating and all that. I am so happy to hear that it happened for someone though!

i didnt have an internet love affair but i "met" the love of my life online (in mirc, when it was still the rage) 7yrs ago. after chatting for awhile (as friends only), we decided to meet in person & within months, we became a couple as we really connected. we never looked back since then. we just celebrated our 7yrs of togetherness last october and we hope to get married by the year 2008=)

I have two friends who met their suppose online, one is happily married and the other is still not happy yet as his wife is living abroad and they will not be able to live together for another year, they will meet at least twice during this time he said.
