Does anyone here know much about Arabian horses? I would like to buy a few some time in the near future. So I'm trying to gather some information on them so I know what to expect when I get them. If you have any information on them or experiences with them, please let me know. Thanks.

Well, 1st of all, I love horses. They're my favorite animal. Plus, most Arabians are very sweet, gentle & very intelligent horses. It all depends on the bloodlines. Besides, they come it the bay & palomino colors too. :)

horse rearing up - you dont want one that does this all the time!
Why do you want an arabian horse? i other than their tail sticking up all the time, i have also heard that they have quite the attitude! honestly unless your really big on horses, i wouldnt want one of them. i would prefer a nice calm bay, or palamino horse. If you do get one dont get a mare, because all mare's are moody, and add that to a moody hore by nature, well thats just not any fun! I could be wrong though, you may find a nice, sweet calm arabian horse.

Polish Arabian Stallion - Polish Arabian Stallion
We had an arabian gelding. He was a wonderful kids horse for our son. There are different lines of arabs - Polish, Egyptian, etc. Some temperments are hotter than others. Which type you get should depend on what you'll be doing with them? Trail riding? Endurance riding? Halter? Western Pleasure? I would visit with some breeders and others that raise them in whatever area you are interested in and go from there. Our Arab was a polish arab and just a much loved kids horse. Hope this helps?
