HEY THERE ARE LOTS OF BOOKS THAT ARE BEING MADE INTO MOVIES RIGHT? WHICH VERSION OF THE STORY DO U PREFER? THE ORIGINAL BOOKS OR THE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED MOVIES? I PREFER READING THE BOOKS ANYDAY, SO THT I CAN GO TO THE MOVIES AND CRITICIZE THEM.. I DONT LIKE IT WEN DIRECTORS CHANGE THE STORY LINE SO AS TO MAKE IT MORE ACTION-ORIENTED!! WHICH DO U PREFER?

The books. Most movies change the content way too much.. I want to experience the original book. If the original was the movie, I won't even try to read the book, total waste of time.

I would much rather read the story then see the movie. There are things your mind can imagine that movie magic cannot touch.

I prefer both.. specially I like to read books. but if I don't have enough time and curiosity is more at that time I wish to see the movie only.. sometimes its better to sit 3 hours than reading 1000 pages..

hey that's a tough one for me! lol! i'm a movie-goer but i'm a bookworm too... if i had to choose, i guess it would be movies because watching is more entertaining than reading hundreds of lines in a book. 'cant wait for harry potter and the order of the phoenix! ^^

well to me it matters if the book or the movie came out first if the book came out first and i read it first ide prolly prefer that but if the movie came out and then the book came out ( very rare lol) but yea or if the book was blah thats when i htink the movie would be better!

I definitely like to read the book because it is much better than movies, by reading you can imagine your own characters which is not possible in movie!!

MOVIE!!! because of the effects and everything in book you can only see the letters and papers and dots and everything. in movie you can feel the electricity. the intensity the climax and the ending of the movie.

I prefer books, you provide your own imagination, which you can view the scenery, action, etc., when a movie is not sure he will be faithful to that book and "artistic impression" that a director can make a very loud message that alter writer wanted to convey through the book.
