filing for child support

How do you file for child support? How much does lawyers costs these days? Are still free lawyers around and still willing to help you?

Here in Australia it is really easy for most. A simple form filled in and off you go. Or you can also do it through the family law courts

yes.there are free lawyers in the philippines.try public attorneys office (pao). its a free lawyer for destitutes here in the philippines.if you know "nicole" subic rape case.pao ang lawyer niya.punta ka rin sa local city hall.meron dun legal office,minimal lang ang singil.sa pinas naman kapag me problema ka,dami naman tutulong sa yo...mas accomodating ang pinoy...i've tried it once and it really works.

Where I live you can file for child support through Child Support Recovery. It takes them about 6 months to set up but it is so much cheaper than going through a lawyer. I paid $60 when I submitted the application. Then I paid for serving fees and court fees which was another $60. So I paid $120 total. Not bad if you can wait for them to get it done.

you dont necessarily need a lawyer. go to the department of social services they will help you. good luck.

Yes you will need a lawyer. Yes they are expensive. Depending on where you live you could check with your state or county to see if they have a legal aid office. They are usually free or go by what you make

yes it is..that's why i have decided to file for child support. both me and my x-boyfriend had decided that we'd get married but in the end he left me for another. its his responsibility too..not just mine alone. and my kid's 3 yrs old now and i guess i have put this off long enough already..
