Are you Guilty of Plagiarizing?

Be honest, have you ever plagiarized? What about your kids? When did you/they plagiarize (what kind of assignment, etc) and how old were you/they? Why do you think you/they did it? Were you/they looking for the easy way out? Or didn't you/they have enough faith in your own work? What do you think the punishments should be for someone who plagiarizes?

Yes. When I was still in highshool and college, I always do that. Why? Because I wanted to get good grades. I was lazy and didn't have enough faith in my own work. And I think I did well because my professors never caught me. :) It was the wrong way but it was the easiest way to boost my grades. :)

When I was younger I did, but that was when I didn't know any better, before I knew what plagiarism was. Now that I do know about it, I don't do it. I try to give credit where credit is due. You can get kicked out of college for plagiarizing, so I had a very good reason not to.

never did till this day in my life and hope to never do it in future too. funny thing is I had not known much about plagiarising till I was 15 and when I came to know of what it was I found out I it was way too late in my life to start plagiarising. I don't have kids yet, so kids plagiarising is something that will not happen for the next 10 years atleast and if it were upto me I will make sure they know that plagiarising = to robbery in the lowest form and one should not do it. That's me thanks for asking :)
