How do I know on internet which images r copyrighted?

Hi all of u,I am just new 2 the internet and dont know how 2 get information about the image whether it is copyrighted or not.. If anybody of u will share that with me it will b of gr8 use 4 everyone here including myself...

I'm not actually sure either. I just don't post images that have names of the author or the website name or the website address on it.
