Show and Tell

Do you think it is good for kids to take their pets to school for show and tell. i have a turtle and he is going to school two days in a row, (I have two kids). I was just wondering if you would let a pet go to school?

It really depends on the animal. if it is small like a turtle or hamster, but a dog or even a cat I don't think so. When I was younger and wanted to take my dog, my mom found out when show and tell was and then came with the dog, and then left when I finished that way the dog wasn't there are all day and she had control of it.
