Somewhere in China. Can anyone tell me where this is and what it's called?

Would you like to take this hike? This apparently is somewhere in China, but I've put it onto my list of things that I'd like to do during my life. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find out where it is and what it's called yet. It looks like such an intense hike, but so awesome! I can post some more pictures of the trail if you'd like (if you can call it a trail!). Aloha!

Ah... I think there are plenty of such breadth-taking sights in China! They are just so beautiful! Actually, seeing this pic reminds me of the China/Tibet expedition my hubby & I intend to go in 2007. Have you heard/read about the China/Tibet train? This is a railway that took decades to build & it travels up all the way into the highlands & it takes 2 whole days to get from Beijing to Tibet! I think this would interest you too! Cheers!

I think that I may have heard of the china/tibet train, because I like trains. I haven't really looked too much into the trains of other countries, though, so I'm really not sure. But yes, I would be interested and will have to look that one up! Thanks for the tip. Here's another pic of this outrageous hike "Somewhere in China". Aloha!!

I didn't go to Tibet while I was there, but I heard that the train was ridky, because it went so high in altitude... My grandparents were worried about it...

I've been there and it's a huge place... That could be anywhere from the mountainess regions to the rivers that are sorounded by cliffs!

China - This aerial tram apparently is the start to the hicking path.
Here's another picture. Apparently, this aerial tramway is the transportation to get to the start of the hike. I don't know how far the ride is.

If you look carefully you can see that the picture is from a website and I cannot understand how is possible for you to not know the place that it shows. Did someone sent you the pictures through email ??

Yes, e mail. The website is in Chinese, of which I'm not. I've even had my Chinese friend take a look at the website but she said that she could find no reference to it there. I can only hope that she was thorough when she checked, but I don't want to be pushy with her. So.... Still searching for a clue. Thanks anyways!

Somewhere in China - Another part of this incredible hike.
I'm hoping that it is a famous place so that someone will recognize it and tell me where to find it! My only hope right now is to show the pictures to a travel agent and say "I want to go here!" I don't know if that will go over so well! Oh, and take my aloha greeting anywhere you'd like. Aloha's are given free (and freely) here! Aloha! (There's another one!)
