Well as such its boy who proposes his girl...but my friend plans to propose this guy whom she has been dating for a while..... I was a little taken aback by hearing this as being a girl i would want to be proposed not the other way round....whats your take..it is ok if a girl proposes the boy?????

Truly agree with you, but nowadays everyone are equal and there is nothing in gender for expressing thier love, to whom they love. If you love then have the courage to express it also.

There is no point in being surprised by such a move from this girl. Its the love from her side and she shouls surely express her love for the guy. If she truely loves then its her responsibility to propose with courage and do not have to step back from such situation.

hey its the 21st century.... gals can do anything now,just like men can... if ur pal wants to do it, she can... even i wud prefer a guy to propose to me, instead of the othr way round!!

i dont mind a girl Propose to a guy .. SImple thing is. which is quite understandable..if a girls like some 1. then y .. cant he express her feeeling to that guy . because if she didnt do that.. jusr because. she think i m a girl . i shud not propose a guy . :)..then . how will he get him.

This is fine.If a person feels love they should express it.Why should it matter if the male or the female proposes/We are all equal.

it is kind of strange in our country, but if he does not proposes her and she wants him badly? Then why not? maybe not in public, but between them anything is possible!

Grab the opportunity when you can because sometimes the boy is too shy and embarrised to ask.
If you feel the same way and the girl proposes it doesn't matter. Life is too short so it is best to enjoy it as much as possible and get on with life in the nicest possible way.
