Can you die for your country??

we all proud to be a citizen of our countires.. but can you die for it??

i can die for my counry ...but the misson for which i have to give up should be for the beneficial of mankind.merely not for my particular country.For say it is legal,gives benefit to all country,society..

Yes i can die for my country. But not like this, only if my country is in danger of some sorts then only.
