what do you do? how do you prevent that look of disgust or 'what the heck is that' from being seen..... xmas office party, family member or friend, what do you do when they give you a gift that you dislike, have no idea what it is, they know you hate such stuff...do you comment? accept graciously or accept graciously and give it to someone else.... :) ?

LOL I don't know whether I've just been incredibly luck or I have weird tastes but thankfully I've never received a bad gift. If it ever did happen I guess I'd try accept it graciously and then hide it away in the hopes I'd never see it again - but still have it in case the giver ever visited and wondered where it was :-)

for my daughter's christening someone gave the most hideous outfit - wouldn't even dress a doll in it!we obviously accepted the gift and thanked the person. A lil later we took a pic of her wearing the outfit and then gave it away. So if ever they asked we have a foto to prove that at least she had it on once......lol! Shame to think that my daughter had to put it on in the first place...:)
