to dress up the way teeners or adults do? i've just been to the mall and i noticed that the outfits on sale for little girls are more fashionable, some even more daring than those for ladies. and most kids are wearing them, too! would you let your child dress that way?

No. It's such a shame. No body seems to realize what's happening to society... And I hope girls (and boys) are not missing their childhoods.

I don't have any girls, but If I ever have a girl, NO WAY!! she is not going to be allowed to dress like a hoochie mama! I've seen these too! Some stores even offer thongs for girls as young as 5! I think it is pathetic!

really? thongs for toddlers? that's really out of the line already! somebody should stop these companies from marketing those items and selling them to kids!

I will NOT let my daughter dress in this way. She is only 10 months old now, but she won't be going out in low cut shirts and short skirts until she is old enough to support herself! I won't be buying any of that clothing. I'm not a really conservative person either, I just think it's trashy to see young girls walk around in clothing like that, wearing makeup, and hanging all over boys when they are only 10 or 11 years old. I think kids are growing up way too fast these days.

that's right! and that's because they see it all the time on tv! the likes of brittney spears and lindsay lohan.
