Public Schools are not Churches!

I am so sick of hearing how terrible it is God isn’t allowed in Public Schools. What they are not getting is, children ARE free to discuss their religion with their friends! Students and Teachers ARE allowed to pray quietly to themselves, and they ARE allowed to wear religious articles, like a cross. What they are NOT allowed to do is turn a Public School into a church and promote their religious agendas. Teaches are NOT allowed to convert. Most of all they are NOT allowed to make children of different faiths feel shameful, different or build prejudices amongst the children. I don’t understand why it is this is not OK with some people. So if someone can explain to me what more do they want and why, I would love to hear it.
