What do you think is the best formation for the current Arsenal team?? I believe they should play a 4-3-2-1, which can be converted to either a 4-5-1 (against the less physical teams) or 4-3-3 (against physical teams). This is my best team formation for Arsenal: Lehmann Lauren/Eboue Toure Senderos Clichy Hleb Gilberto Flamini Fabregas Rosicky/V.Persie Henry And on the bench Among others: Walcott Baptista Adebayor When the Gunners want to convert to a 4-3-3 from a 4-5-1 from the above formation, Rosicky or Fabregas can be substituted by the three named (by me) on the bench. I believe such a formation would give us versatility!! Anyways, what do you guyz think. Give your opinions here!!

Well, yours is a good suggestion, especially keeping Arsenal's style of play. But I always prefer the traditional 4-4-2. But given the talent in the attacking midfielder positions along with the lack of established forwards except Henry make a clear 4-4-2 an unsuitable formation for Arsenal!!

Well, did you see the performance of the Arsenal strikers RV Persie and Adebayor in the 6-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers. I think if our strikers can be in such good form, thenmaybe we can keep playing a clear 4-4-2, rather than a 4-5-1. A 4-5-1 formation can be implemented later in the match if we do get a lead in the scoreline. Also, when we start with a 4-5-1, then even with the changes to make it 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2, the players might not be get that impetus and motivation in such a short time (substitutions usually happen in the last half an hour). I just hope that RV Persie, Adebayor, Walcott and even Henry (when he returns) remain in the best of their forms till the end of the season!!
