Indian Hockey going down

Ok - I'm not much of a hockey fan and probably havent really followed the sport much. But the performance in the Asian games and in recent months in general seems way below par and quite low-quality. What's happening? Are we kinda easing out on our national game? Not enough players? Not enough coaching/strategies? Or are we losing direction?
