which is the best operating system and why?

according to me the windows xp sp2 is the best os because it is very user friendly and very easy to operate. what abt u?

Of the Windows operating systems, it's Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. Of the linux systems, any RedHat-based Linux is good: Fedora or RedHat Enterprise. Between Linux and Windows, it's hard to say. I like both and use both for two totally different purposes. If you want your computer to be a server, use nothing but Linux. Otherwise, use Linux.
