Do you drink out of water fountains?

...say at a park or somewhere like that? I will not. I've seen spit in those things and people putting their mouths on the part the water comes out of. Water fountains are disgusting. What's your opinion on water fountains?

have never drunk from such a place...why should we do that..so thirsty ????

You are right. People do all sorts of nuisance at the fountain. But there are well maintained fountains. When you visit Mysore - a princely state and city, where we have world famous Brindavan Gardens. It is full of fountains, well maintained and at nights, they have made colour lighting arrangements. One would get a feeling of being in a wonderland.
