Piracy..Where does it begin? Is it a threat?

Hi friends...what do u think about piracy? Where does it actually begin?do u think there is any help by piracy to the mankind? Even if v know its illegal y do v go for it?

I think the internet could be one of the places it starts. Such as the downloads of music etc. Then people copy them and sell them. It is so tempting to many, as it is much cheaper. I know someone who has bought a couple of pirated dvd's and the quality is terrible. I prefer the originals.
