In ebay, there are lots of used clothings being sold there. I've bought several used clothes there. But only those which are stain-free and still in brand new condition. I don't see anything wrong in doing that. I also sell some of my used clothes so I have more space in my closet for the newly acquired ones. How about you? Have you ever bought bought a used clothing?

I go to thrift shops all the time and buy clothing. As long as its in good condition, and I always wash it. You can find some really great stuff. I love the old vintage stores. I have considered buying things off ebay too, but you never know what you are getting from there.

Me too, I make sure that I wash the clothes I bought before I wear them.

Oh heck yeah I love going to thrift stores, goodwill and fairs where clothes are hand-me-downs but GREAT ! So you wash them before you wear them and if they are really inexpensive, and they look great on you, it feels like a million-buck suit is on you! The condition of the clothing is important and I am careful when choosing jeans or shirts. For personal reasons, I buy all new undergarments at discount stores but never from a used clothing store.

Well, I have bought New Clothes thru Ebay, but nothing used yet though. I have bid on a couple of things and been outbid on these though. I actually have a lot of nice clothes I no longer wear I have considered listing on Ebay though. Not sure if I can earn much though there, but it might be worth a try.

Try to sell them in ebay. Some people might be interested in your old stuff. And even if you would not earn much, at least you would earn something from things that are already useless to you. :)

I go yard selling all of the time. I just don't buy used shoes, undergarment, personal heigene or anything else like this. I don't see anything wrong with it and it saves you a lot of money when you have kids that are always growing out of their close

I have never bought used shoes and undergarments also. The items are shipped to me so I only see them when they are delivered to my place. When I buy shoes, I have to see it personally so I could see if it fits me. My feet are small, so buying shoes online is not for me. As for undergarments, I believe you should always buy them brand new. It is very unhygienic to buy second hand undergarments.

I used to buy used clothes from 'ukay-ukay' or flea markets but I now prefer buying online from ebay or multiply. But I make sure it was rarely used and I look at the item very well through pictures and through the reputation of the seller. I dont think there is anything wrong with buying used clothes, I most often find 'treasures' there or some items I missed during the season and luckyly its sold there online.

I also buy from ebay. And like you, I look at the pictures closely and I only buy from reputable sellers to be sure that the second hand clothes are still in good condition and are rarely used.

Yes, so far I have no bad experiences in Ebay. I always make sure that I check the feedbacks of the seller before I place a bid. And if I have some questions regarding the item, I do not hesitate to ask the seller also.

I've been to thrift stores and bought second hand clothes. Especially for stage wear. I also find some great stuff to model in that is vintage. I only get stuff that is in good condition however. I have even bought some stuff with tags still on them. My favorite stuff to look for is sequened dressed, or shirts/sweaters. Anything that was previously worth a lot of money, I buy second hand. I have also sewn stuff that needed fixing. Lots can be done with old clothes. :-)

Good for you that you are very creative and you are good in sewing. When I buy used clothes, I just wash them, iron them, then wear them. If I try to do something else to them I am sure they will become unwearable. Lol!

I see no problem with that. Actually, I do buy 2nd hand clothes. From so called "Ukay-Ukay" here in the Philippines. beacause fi you compare them to the brand new local products, they cost much cheaper but have good quality. But of course, befor buying one, make sure it has a good quality and without stains or damages. With good cleaning, it will look brand new. :)

I agree with you. Even a lot of really rich people buy some clothes from the "Ukay-Ukay". And if you are really patient to look at the stuff there, you will surely find some nice clothes at very low prices.

All the time. I love second hand clothes and thrift stores. I don't like to pay full price for anything. I can get new or almost new clothes for a fraction of the price. I don't buy them off of ebay b/c of shipping. I have some very nice thrift stores close by that I frequent. Ebay would be good for evening dresses or a suit or someting nice like that.

I also like to to buy things at a discounted price. That is why I love to shop when there is a mall-wide sale. :) Yes, the problem with buying from ebay is the shipping fee. So most of the time I buy several items from the same seller.

i have bought a lot of used clothes (and bags) from "ukay-ukays" and thrift shops. aside from being cheaper, it is usually in these shops that i see a lot of great buys like vintage items and one of a kind pieces. i've also scored some original designer stuff for really really low prices. my greatest find would have to be an LV document bag for only Php700 or USD14! it just needed a little cleaning but was in very good shape. i had it authenticated and it is an original. the only problem i have with ukay-ukays is that most of them have really really cramped spaces so you really have to be patient in scanning the items and getting into their make-shift fitting rooms. plus i always have to have some tissue with me because some of them are dusty and can give me a sneezing frenzy. and you really have to triple wash the items to make sure they're clean. my mom even puts some of the clothes in boiling water just to make sure they're clean. unlike when you buy in thrift shops abroad where the shops look like regular stores and the clothes are almost ready to wear.

Oh yes, I dont buy Brand new anymore, The way I find my children so hard on their clothes It really bugs me when they stain or damage it, I buy it at a second hand store at half or even less that doesnt seem to upset me as much! I also find its a great way of saving the money for how fast they grow this is got to be the best thing done!

Yes, buying second hand clothes can really save you a lot of money. Especially in your case that your children are still young and they do not take care of their clothes.

I have boughtclothing off of ebay. Sometimes you can get a really good deal on something. Or find an item that you love that is no longer in the stores. I also sell some of my used clothing online. I even have clothes that are new with tags or new without tags that I sell on there. If the article is used, I make sure it's in a condition that I would be willing to buy.

Nope I haven't. I have a tendency to think that there may be something left of the person if it is second-hand. But I do surf in e-bay once in a while, they have some nice things to bid on but i prefer to be the first user.

I thought of that too. That is why I only buy from the sellers that have a good reputation. If a seller's previous buyers did not give her bad feedbacks, then most likely the clothes that she's selling are ok.

I buy used clothes all the time. I go to garage sales and even thrift stores. You can get some really nice stuff if you look long enough. Even cosignment stores are great.

Another thrift shopper! :) Try to look at the international sites of Ebay. Though the problem might be the shipping cost.

I bought some maternity clothes off ebay when I was pregnant with my son. I couldn't fit in my regular clothes anymore and I didn't want to pay the high prices for the new maternity clothes at the store. They were still in great shape and some weren't even worn before.
