I believe you get points for responding to discussions and when someone responds to the discussion you started

You dont get points for commenting your own discussion.
You can only get one point for commenting or responding to a question.
You can only get one point for someone responding to your discussion.
It's better to comment someone else's response so they get points.

i dont agree to that. especially the 334 pts=$10
it juz doesnt work out. the numbers dont add up.

You get points automatically for responding..and you get one point for your question regardless of how many respond. So make sure yuo do both. You alos get points for best response and resolving your own discussion...and then referrals...the more you have the more you will earn.
