What's the true definition of being mature to you? I have asked myself this question a lot of times my whole life..and can't seem to find its true meaning... ask several people and they all will give you different answers... What Characteristics does a mature person have?.. and do they get more respect than immature people?.. Does being SERIOUS in life and acting like an adult be called MATURE?.. Or are you just faking it and trying to APPEAR MATURE?.. and if its like that,.. isnt that immature?.. what are your thoughts on this?..Does being RESPONSIBLE, you can be classified as mature?.. in IMO.. it takes more than a lot of this to be labeled mature... something to ponder about.. post your thoughts people!..

I think the true meaning of being mature, is just knowing that there on consequences to your actions and taking responsibility to what you do and say. And realizing that you need to think of others outside of yourself. You are not always number one and that sometimes you need to hold your tongue, say excuse me, and say your sorry when the times comes if you need to.
