Beacuse, i could see lot of people talking lot about buying a home for them. It will their final frontier. To own a home of yours, is it that much difficult( am not talking about rich people) and is it a pride for man to have a home belongs to himself? I am 24 now, so i find it odd? People who have gone through this phase or planning to buy a house just put your thoughts here.

I bought when I was young. It is not very hard, just have to have a little bit of a credit history...doesn't even have to be that good. It gives tax breaks and is financially a smart choice in the long run. Talking USA here. Now own a home outside of USA and there are no tax breaks, but it is very rewarding and the value goes up along the way.
