Runs out of gasoline in very dark place and without flash light!!

Have you experienced to runs out with gasoline in a dark place it is late midnight and no car is passing by on that road because its late midnight and that place is located on the province where it is very seldom to drive ther on late at night and you discover also that you have forgot your flash light. What will you do???

I'm glad I've never had that kind of experience. It sounds scary especially if you happen to be driving alone. Hopefully I would have my cell phone with me so I can contact someone to help me out. If I'm out of range, I would probably keep walking until I am. I don't know if I would trust flagging a motorist down or going to someone's house.
