With this recipe you can make a very good cake. And with a few changes you can make a Black Forest cake and half moon cookies. For the Mayonnaise cake.... 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup cold water 1 cup mayonnaise 4 table cocoa powder 2 teas. baking soda 1 teas vanilla Mix all ingriedents together. Put into 9" x 13" greased baking dish.. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean.. Cool, frost with your favoite frosting It is so easy to make a black forest cake with this recipe.. all you do is either make a layer cake and use cool whip and cherry pie filling.. You can also do it with the 9" x 13" cake.. For the cookies all you do is add 3 cups of flour instead of 2 to the rest of the ingriedents.. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet until done.. To make Half Moons, frost half the bottom of the cookie with white frosting and the other half with chocolate. Enjoy!
