Horse and buggy days

Because of the globel warming problem, do you think we should go back to the horse and buggy days to help solve the problem ? Even if it was for a short period of time like say 15 or 20 years

I don't think we should go back in time technology-wise. Instead I think we should try to accelerate the development of newer, cleaner technologies for transportation. For example, the hydrogen-powered vehicles really aren't that far away (they run on water instead of gas). If we put pressure on the manufacturers to speed the delivery to market, it will be better for all of us.
