a major letdown....

for months now, the whole of cebu city has been busy beautifying and planning for the hosting of the ASEAN Meet this year which was supposed to start last monday, dec.14. however, at the last minute, it was postponed due to the forecasst of a typhoon coming. it has been rescheduled to january next year. everybody's disappointed. it's like being very excited to have visitors at home only to be told the party's not pushing thru. sad and very disappointing! and the worst thing? the typhoon didn't hit cebu. we had a bright and sunny weather all week. can't help but wonder if the rumor that it has been cancelled bcause of the threat of a terrorist attack is true?
