i was in a local library once when i noticed a young girl sitting across me concentrating on the book she's reading. nothing out of the ordinary, really, except that she has this habit of letting her fingers go thru her hair then pluck one strand. she didn't stop until she has finished what she was reading. but i figured, she must have pulled out a hundred strands by the time she was done! is she OC?

Yikes!! I sort of feel bad for her. I wonder if she even knows what she is doing it? Maybe she is stressed? But I am very stressed and I would never pull my hair out willingly.

she was doing it unconsciously. but conscious or otherwise, i wouldn't want to be doing that. we have a history of early baldness, you know.

I haven't ever seen anyone do that. It sounds like a nervous habit. I wouldn't know what she'd be so nervous about while simply reading a book in the library. I hope she doesn't go bald from it LOL

at the rate she was going, i'd say she'll never reach 30 with her hair still on her head! lol!
