Have you put up your Christmas tree yet?

I'm wondering how many people have their Christmas tree up already, and how many don't. Is it a tradition for you to put your tree up on a certain day?
I have not put my tree up yet. We always wait until the weekend before Christmas to put our tree up. It's been that way since I was a kid and we carried the tradition over with our children.

Yes, my family put up our tree last Friday. I was waiting to get one because this is our first real tree in 3 years. Christmas 2004 and 2005 our tree was fake, and my son, who is now 7, hated the fact it wasn't real. We moved a couple months ago too, so in the move I tossed the artificial tree and bought him a real one. :) I have missed the ambiance of a real tree! The smell is the main thing....the only thing that was nice is not having to clean up all those needles everyday :)

I would love to have a real tree, as would my husband and kids, but the scent of a real tree causes me migraines. :( So we always have an artificial tree. I've taken great pains to get an artificial tree that looks as real as possible, but it just isn't the same.

Aw that is too bad!! I am very happy having a real tree this year :) Can you burn pine like scents in the form of cadnle or liquid potpourri? Or do those bother you too?

yeah we put our tree up on saturday. we dont have a traditional day though. its just when we get around to it and hopefully at least a week b4 xmas. i deicided i needed to get it up as soon as possible so i could teach my daughter not to touch the presents till xmas because she opened a few presents at her nanas the other day. it has been up like 5 days and she has the hang on it so far.
