Help me quit smoking?

Hi Friends. I smoke regularly around 20 cigarretes daily but i really want to quit. I have tried it several times but failed. I managed to live for few days without it but whenever i will be with my old college friends or in any party i cant resist and it starts again. My girlfriend is also very much sad because of this and i want to quit smoking. Can anybody suggest me what to do? Is there any medicine for this? I can try anything. Thanks.
