Have you ever heard the saying, "we all have a twin somewhere in the world"? My grandfather that lived in Maryland, we live in Virginia. When I was around 15 or 16. We were there visting for Christmas. He told me I had a twin working at the drug store in town. He made everyone around look at me. They all said the same thing. I of course figured it was them all picking on me. And never gave it another thought, until now........ In another forum I belong to. I have found three people that look like someone I know. One of them gave me chills when I saw their icon. She looks just like my mom did years ago!! I had to get my daughter and husband to check it out. I said look at this woman and tell me who she looks like. First words out of their mouths, your mom/grandma!!! So I for one believe we all have a twin somewhere sometime.. ~*~ Happy Holidays ~*~

twin somewhere in the world - we go through out lives and somewhere out there, there is someone that looks like us. We may never meet them and sometimes our family swears they see you somewhere that you were not! interesting and a study could be done and the results could be amazing. What would they discover this anomoly is?
yes I have heard that and in my case my neice swore she saw me driving one day in a town where I was not and I was at work. She swore it was me. Also while I was a bowler some people told me I looked just like a lady that is working at the psychiatric hospital in another local town. So I guess unless that was the same lady I have a triplet. lol..Hope you get lots of answers, would love to hear there reponses!

Thankyou for commenting Willowlady. Yes sounds like triplet to me. =) It is so freaky. After posting this discussion. I remember my sister has one out there as well. She lives about 2 hours from me. But once in awhile I run into this lady. That is her exact double. Only difference is the voice. People have even come up to me and said, I see your sister was in town today. I thought I'd get some answers on this one myself. Guess not as many people are mistaken for someone else. As I tought. lol ~*~ Happy Holidays To You ~*~

Just two weeks ago a very good friend of mine who worked under me in a group home was telling me about a funny story. She was taking one of the women to the doctor. The woman is mildly retarted and mostly non verbal. As they passed by a cubicle in the emergency room, Claire yelled out "Mari". My friend Mindi noticed at the same time, that I was in the cubicle. She figure I was sick again as I have been frequently or late. The woman made eye contact and smiled but said nothing. Mindi was not sure if it was me, because I would have waved, spoke and called them over. She just gave a quick wave and hurried along with Claire. So when we were out to dinneer she asked, was that you in the hospital? I said no, you would have known if I was in the hospital, I would have called you. It was very funny she said the woman looked just like me. Also when I was about 14 there was a girl that moved to my town that was 16 and people got us confused all the time. We really looked so much alike we both without knowing it had questioned our mothers.. So I guess there must be something to it... And lucky me, I guess I'm a triplet...hehehe
