INS raid on meat packing plants

I know there was something about this yesterday on here but it didn't say anything about the children. I live in southwest minnesota where one of the plants were raided. I found out that the ins took the children out of school but are now homeless. They are all staying at a church until homes can be found for them. Their parents have been arrested for stealing someone elses identity. (Used someone elses social security number to get jobs). One parent gets to stay with their kids because the kids were all born in the states. Only thing is the parent can't work to support the kids. How in the world is that going to work. I don't think they will beable to get government help either since the parent is illegal. Why is it when something bad happens the children always have to suffer?

Perhaps the parents should have thought about their kids first before they went and used someone elses social security number. I know someone will say "but they got a job to better their kids future." Well what kind of future will they have now?

I agree but the children didn't do anything wrong.

True but innocent people get hurt everyday. Perhaps the children will be put into foster care or something simliar.

unfortunately it is a sad story that the children have to suffer for their parents wrong doings. But it's wrong for illegal immagrants to stay in the USA.

I know it's wrong. I just wish those parents would have thought of that and what it would do to there children if they got caught.
