Polygamy! The Answer to all men's problems!!

Ok, I know I'm going to take some heat from this one, but I do have some sound reasons for this particular post! Let's say there's only one car in the family, and it breaks down! What are you going to do? Wouldn't it be nice to have a second automobile to drive? What if you need to take it in for servicing overnight? Wouldn't it be nice to have a spare car in the garage in case you needed to use it for the night? You wouldn't wear the same underwear two days in a row. Would you? Same principal! You've GOT to change your women once in a while! Women, listen up! There is sound reasoning for you, too! Let's say you have a horse. You ride the horse everyday! The horse is going to eventually need a rest. Wouldn't you agree? So, it's nice to have a spare horse to ride when the original needs some rest! This world proportionally has more women than men, so there's not enough men around to accomodate all of the women. Why not allow men to be married to several? I'm not trying to rile anyone's feathers here. All I'm trying to do is show some good ol' fashioned common sense. Anyone have any rebuttals?

HOLY SH*T are you comparing us to regular objects and a HORSE!?!?! Of course people who WANT to have more then one spouse ca nfind logic in it...i see that...you should talk to my husband!!! he's been trying to reason with me how another wife can benifit our marriage..i think just talking about it made me emotionally worse and concerned about our marriage. what if you were on the flip side. polygamy can go both ways you know. Would you like to share your wife with several other men?? what if YOU were the back up??? A woman gotta change that man every once in a while right??? would you be okay with it??? yes, logicly, if there were more then two adults in a relationship household chores can be split up. possible income can be split up. i understand that fact fully...but then again i can't understand going through life like this. to me people who are in a polygamis relationship, are mostly greedy. think about the spouse that gets traded out...what about their feelings. oh and i read your other post about the vacume...what the hell did you expect??! hahaha

Thanks, Emarie! I got what I expected. No good deed goes unpunished. I was considerate enough to buy her a good vacuum so she coud clean the house easier, now it looks like I'll be the one doing the housework around here! By the way: which one of you told her about my post? lol just kidding....she knows cause I told her. And she is all for my point of view! Boy, is she a SUCKER!! hahahahaha

I would be very concerned if my husband was speaking of adding another woman into our marriage!! I mean, jokes about 3-ways are one things, but wanting an extra wife?? There seem to be problems in that marriage. Marriages are between TWO people. I don't care if it's between a man and woman, a man and man, a woman and woman, a black and white, an asian and mexican, I don't care. But it is between TWO people and TWO people only.

As gorgeous as you are, your husband will never even think about adding a third person to your relationship!

It's hard enough keeping one woman happy. Why in the world would guys want the stress of keeping several happy.

If the woman isn't happy, then the whole household is unhappy. It's afact. It is in the best interest of any sane man to keep his woman happy and that pretty much rules out having another gal in the picture.

Well, that's exactly the point. Polygamous societies end up very man oriented and dominated, for women become barter, like hores (oops, horses, little freudian mistake there?) and autos, which they are not any of those, but "helpmeets" or pards. I'll stick with the old one man, one woman, if ya don't mind. Eve having been made from Adam's rib/side, and not feet. Notice how God made him wait. So Adam said, when Eve showed up "Finally!" And he called her "the mother of us all"... not jes another horse. If man knew how to make love and friendship and romance with one woman, he wouldn't need or even want another! :))

My first comment is that life is hard enough with one wife. I could not survive two. On the other hand, I could picture about 20 men being able to meet all the demands of a typical woman.

Hmmm, but how does this fit into your religious beliefs? I mean, you said that if God had meant for people to be gay, it would have been Adam and Steve, not Adam and Eve. If God had meant for men to be polygamous, wouldn't he have created Adam and Eve... and Mimi ... and Brenda? (All for Adam's pleasure)

The fact that you are comparing women to a car and underwear is slightly disturbing. And 95% of your post pertains to MEN having several spouses because of your very logical reasoning that there are more women than men. I don't think a man would like their wife off screwing some other guy. Damages the oh so tender ego they have. Besides the fact that, if you are married, then you married that person because he/she is the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. If you want to sleep around, stay single.

Um, can I have more then one husband? I mean, what if I get angry at the one I have but I still want to cuddle and have some time with someone I love? I would need another man in that case right? Or what if I married a man that didn't like to do car work and the car wasn't working and he wouldn't take it to the shop? Wouldn't I need another man to do the work on the car? I love your topics, they are so fun!

If you could not tell from my posts, I am a "lover", not a fighter. I want to love as many women as possible. Of course I know that to love a woman is to fight with one. Can't have one without the other! But seriously! I don't want to cause fights: I want to debate. I don't care which side of the issue I'm debating, even if I don't believe in it. Of course I do not believe in polygamy; I just like the debating!! NOT FIGHTING!

I think you are right we all need more spouses and we'll go live live with the guy who posted the bit about the micro farm in az. And we'll become a nice big poligamous cult. We can swap left and right. Want that be fun! LOL no I'm just being sarcastic, but really I think I'd kill my husband if he ever mentioned this is a serious manner.

It's just a joke! She was raised as a Morman and definitely doesn't agree with this! She just laughs at me and calls me a "dork"!

personally i think that is sad..people rely on things to much..you dont need a car or 2 for that matter..people want a car..cuz they prefer it to public transports..people in our days are lazy. i dont know where you live but here in canada there is an automobile club fror such things..you call them and if they can they fix it..and most garages lend you a car while they are working on yours..so your reasonning is not sound at all.oh and we have two cars and there is no polygamy lol

It is so sad to read your post. For you women are commodities. You bring examples of cars, horses and underwear. Women are human beings with feelings. In the Western World at least you will not find many supporters of polygamy

hi chunkers, i donot have any issue with having one more "spare horse" in the family. what i mind is the unnecessary upkeep for the horse. there must be horses, but the horses should come everyday from the forest, service your needs and go back to where they came from!! haha. that way, in a freewheeling way, you will be rotating not only the old family retainer, but even the service horse too. what a living it willl be. of course the horses will resent my saying this. they are welcome to have stallions to service them, as it is this is happening today. no neighborhood stud asks for com-pensation from the "lonely" horses, why should be horses ask for? hehe.
